    <p>On 11th March 2011 a half day workshop was held in Uuvudhiya Constituency in Omusati region. The purpose of the workshop was to discuss sub-surface water storage in Iipopo village.     <p>In April the E-CAP team visited Kalkrand Village Council. The purpose was to pilot the Performance Support Team (PST) approach based on the recommendations of the Namibian Integrated Water Resource Management Plan (IWRMP).</p> <p>The aim of the visit was to discuss challenges that the village council is facing with regard to water, sanitation and solid waste management in order to provide hands on support to find solution to the challenges.     <p><strong>DRFN Interns presented research findings at Biodiversity Action Day</strong><br> On 13 May 2011 <a href="http://www.drfn.org.na/staff/riana_kadimba/">Riana Kadimba</a> and <a href="http://www.drfn.org.na/staff/pinehas_uupind/">Pinehas Uupindi</a> attended the Biodiversity Action Day held at Omauni community forest in Okongo Constituency in Ohangwena region.   • SLCP1 finalised

    <p>The Summer Land Care Programme (SLCP), implemented by the DRFN and Gobabeb Training and Research Centre (GTRC) with funding from the Country Pilot Partnership (CPP) has just come to an end. The intensive two-month course in applied research was aimed at building the capacity of Namibian tertiary students.
