The final reports presenting the findings of the two student teams from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in the USA can now be downloaded from the DRFN website. The study titled “Improving solid and human waste Management in Rural Namibian communities: A participatory approach to centralized waste collection and a dry sanitation evaluation in the communities of Grundorn South and Nico Noord” was conducted by Elyssa Dorenfeld, Patrick Ford, Livia Motz and John Petipas, and was a valuable contribution to the E-CAP project.
The second study titled “Lights on the horizon: a socioeconomic impact evaluation of rural electrification in Tsumkwe, Namibia” was carried out by Brennan Ashton, Lauren Bisacky, Donal Boyd and Jessica Lopez, as part of the Tsumkwe Energy project.
