The Desert Research Foundation of Namibia (DRFN) cordially invites you to participate in a Policy Dialogue on Managing Invasive Alien Species in Namibia. The Policy Dialogue will be held on the 17th of September 2015 at the Safari Hotel and Conference Centre.

This event is organized in the frame of the USAID funded project “Applying the Ecosystem Approach in Integrated Water Resources Management”. The Desert Research Foundation of Namibia is leading the implementation of the project in Namibia with support from the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

The aim of the Policy Dialogue is to raise awareness on the negative impacts of Invasive Alien Species on biodiversity and water resources in the country. In addition, the Policy Dialogue will open space for stakeholders to contribute to possible solutions and to guide policy direction towards addressing Invasive Alien Species in Namibia.
