The DRFN is a Namibian non-governmental sustainability organisation aiming to enhance decision-making for sustainable development through research, training and consultancy in the country's land, water and energy sectors. |
In addition
to managing that component,DRFN
provided training and support to the users themselves. Staff
member Dasius Nelumbu checks the temperature of a solar box
cooker being used to prepare the midday meal as part of the
handover and training activities. Namibia’s sun can indeed
provide the total energy solution to remote communities.
