Sida EnviroPre
DRFN is undertaking a participatory
review and evaluation of Swedish support to the Namibian environmental
sector for the Swedish Embassy in Namibia.
The aim of the EnviroPRE process is twofold. The EnviroPRE
provides Sida (and other interested parties) with a comprehensive
and easily accessible overview and assessment of the support given
to Namibia. Equally, the EnviroPRE process provides Namibian stakeholders
with knowledge of the past in order to manage environmental issues
in the best possible way for the future, and provides recommendations
for the way forward. The PRE process has two main elements –
documentation and consultation, which culminate in a participatory
analysis of remaining issues in the environmental sector and a brief
plan of action.
