Our Strategy

The DRFN is an organisation fostering the sustainable development of Namibia through its research, training and consultancy activities. The strategic plan elaborated in this section is intended to focus the efforts of DRFN staff on those activities that support these core pillars of our organisation.

CORE CAPABILITIES
The DRFN has key expertise, and actively develops in-house capacities to promote sustainability in the Namibian land, water and energy sectors, and thereby empowers decision-makers at all levels through its knowledge creation, capacity building and independent advice.

KEY RESULT AREAS
Research, training and consultancy activities are the DRFN’s key result areas. In order to ensure the viability of its operations, the DRFN seeks to apply processes that enhance and ensure operational effectiveness.
